WE BELIEVE  God has revealed Himself to be the living and true God, perfect in love and righteous in all His ways; one in essence, existing eternally in the three persons of the Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

WE BELIEVE  in God the Father, the infinite, personal spirit, perfect in love, holiness, justice, and grace. We believe that He is all-knowing and all-powerful. We believe that He mindfully and mercifully concerns Himself with the lives of humankind, that He hears and answers our prayers. We believe that God expressed and revealed Himself to the world in His Son, Jesus.

Luke 10:21-22; Matthew 23:9; John 3:16, 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:1-2, 2:5-6; 1 Peter 1:3; Revelation 1:6

WE BELIEVE  that Jesus must have first place in everything. In Colossians 1 we see that in everything Christ is to be preeminent. It pleased God the Father to exalt the name of Jesus above every name and to position Jesus far above all rule, authority, power and dominion. Through Jesus all things came into being, all things are held together by the word of His power, and all things are ultimately meant for His glory. He is the word of God, the manifestation of God, and is Himself God. Jesus is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

WE BELIEVE  the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-equal with Jesus and the Father in the Godhead. We believe the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son, convicts the world of sin and promotes righteousness. The Holy Spirit indwells all those who believe and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ has given the Holy Spirit to comfort and empower the Church, to produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in accordance with the Scriptures.

John 14:16-17, 26; 15:26-27; John 16:9-14; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19; Galatians 5:22-26

WE BELIEVE  the baptism in the Holy Spirit, as promised by Jesus to all believers, is a gift received subsequent to new birth (salvation). The baptism in the Holy Spirit enables Christ followers to fully utilize spiritual gifts for the furtherance of the mission of Jesus, His Church and for personal spiritual growth. God has never removed the gifts of the Holy Spirit from the Church.

Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 17, 38-39; 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47; 11:15-17, 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 14

WE BELIEVE  Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of Jesus and is for believers only. Baptism is a public display of obedient surrender to the Lordship of Christ and is symbolic of the Christian’s identification with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.

Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48, Colossians 2:12, Galatians 2:20

WE BELIEVE  that part of our worship is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength, and all our mind. We give Him our devotion, adoration, and obedience. We worship One God in three persons. We express this love and devotion in our songs and our giving to Jesus and one another from our resources, our time, our talents, and our skills.

Matthew 13: 44-45; Luke 12:34; Mark 12:29-30; Acts 4:32-35; Ephesians 5:19-20; Colossians 3:16-17

WE BELIEVE  the Biblical Scriptures (the Old and New Testaments) in their original writing are fully inspired of God. All scriptures point to Jesus. We accept them as the full and final authority for faith and life. The miracles as recorded in the Bible are real in their entirety and are possible in the present day.
